The Chatham-Kent Police Service have added a new page to their website.
“Under ‘About’ – you’ll see ‘Professional Standards’ – on this page, you’ll see information about ongoing Professional Conduct Hearings,” stated Const. Renee Cowell, public information officer.

“In trying to maintain professionalism and transparency, we’re hoping this page keeps everyone informed,” Cowell said.
“This information is provided by Insp. Reed of our Professional Standards Section and I will keep the page updated as investigations/hearings move forward.”
Cowell said all are welcome to attend the date/time/location for updates on these matters.
Professional Conduct Hearings are held for a variety of circumstances under the Police Services Act of Ontario.
This can include matters such as insubordination, neglect of duty or discreditable conduct.
