Selkirk History Faire takes place along the Snye River

The annual Selkirk History Faire took place along the Syne River, just outside of Wallaceburg, once again this past weekend.

The event featured 1812-era re-enactors, along with highland games for the children, calligraphy, weaving, carpentry displays, tomahawk throwing, candle making and more.

The Wallaceburg Lakers were also handling the barbecue duties at the event, and the proceeds were being donated to the Wallaceburg Splash Pad project.
