Two Windsor men face aggravated assault charges after an incident at the Tilbury ONroute Centre.
OPP officials say on December 5, 2016, around 6:30 a.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a complaint of an assault at the eastbound centre off the 401.
OPP Investigators determined that an altercation took place between three men outside the Onroute Centre.
As a result, a 48-year-old male from Windsor, Ontario was treated and released from hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A 26-year-old man of Windsor, Ontario has been charged with aggravated assault, contrary to section 268 of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Also, a 27-year-old man of Windsor, Ontario has charged with aggravated assault, contrary to section 268 of the Criminal Code of Canada and breach of probation x 2, contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
Both men are being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The OPP West Region Crime Unit and the OPP Forensic Investigation Services Unit (FISU) were called to assist.
The investigation is continuing.
