A Wallaceburg man is in custody following a physical altercation on Wednesday.
Police officials say in December 2016, the man was charged with aggravated assault and weapons dangerous against his neighbor.
He was released with conditions not to talk or attend his residence.
Yesterday around 4:30 p.m., the man attended his neighbour’s residence where a physical altercation began.
The man knocked his neighbor to the ground and further assaulted him with a broken beer bottle.
When a witness tried to intervene, the man held up a knife towards him in a threatening manner, at which time he fled to call 911.
Police responded and arrested the man.
A 39-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with failing to comply, assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous.
He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
