One of Chatham-Kent’s ‘Most Wanted’ suspects was arrested in Wallaceburg on Tuesday.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say in 2015, the man was charged with failing to surrender his ownership and insurance for his vehicle, two counts of driving while under suspension, two counts of criminal harassment and two counts of uttering false messages.

On December 22, 2016 the man failed to attend court and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Yesterday around 1 p.m. an observant citizen in Wallaceburg recognized the man from the ‘Wanted List’ and called police.

The 37-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested on the outstanding warrant.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
