The OPP have positively identified the male found deceased in the St. Clair River last week.
“The OPP do apologize for the delay but, in a case like this, positive identification and adequate/sensitive next-of-kin notification is paramount,” Lambton OPP officials stated in a press release.
The deceased male has been identified as Timothy Robert Postill, 60 years-of-age, from Sarnia.
The OPP have determined that there are no suspicious circumstances in relation to his death.
Any inquiries with regard to the actual cause of the deceased’s death can be directed to the Regional Coroners Office.
