The Wallaceburg Tartans crowned two LKSSAA champions on Monday night, as both the junior and senior girls basketball teams were winners in their league finals.
Senior: WDSS 52, LCCVI 14
Brett Fischer led the Tartans with 12 points, as the senior Tartans topped the Lambton Collegiate Lancers 52-14 in Wallaceburg on Monday night in the ‘A-AA’ LKSSAA playoff final.
Legacie Blackbird scored 10 points for the Tartan, while Emily MacLachlan and Ashley Lablance had 6 points each.
Wallaceburg will host Essex in the ‘AA’ SWOSSAA final on Wednesday night.
Tip off is set for 7 p.m.

Kayla Nogueira led the way with 12 points, as the junior Tartans topped the Lambton Collegiate Lancers 52-26 at home on Monday night in the ‘A-AA’ LKSSAA playoff final.
Abby Mahu added 7 points for Wallaceburg.
The squad will be in Kingsville on Thursday night for the ‘AA’ SWOSSAA final.
