Fatal crash in Leamington

The OPP are investigating after a fatal crash in Leamington.

Police officials say on February 25, 2018 at approximately 11 p.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision on Talbot Road East, east of Essex County Road 37, in Leamington, Ontario.

OPP officials allege two vehicles, each occupied by only the driver were involved in the collision.

One of the drivers was pronounced deceased at the scene and the other was transported to an area hospital with serious but believed to be non-life threatening injuries, police say.

Talbot Road East between Essex County Road 37 and Mersea Road 21 was set to be closed for several hours as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators (TCI) complete their investigation.
