Snow, at times heavy, will develop this morning or early afternoon and persist into tonight. Total snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are possible by later tonight. Snow may be mixed with or change to rain for a brief period of time this evening.
Travel may become hazardous due to the reduced visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow. There may be an impact on the commute this evening in more urban areas.
This snow is associated with an Alberta Clipper tracking over Southern Ontario on Monday.
Today – Increasing cloudiness. Snow at times heavy and local blowing snow beginning early this morning. Amount 10 to 15 cm. Wind becoming southeast 30 km/h gusting to 50 this morning. High zero. Wind chill minus 22 in the morning.
Tonight – Snow at times mixed with rain ending late this evening then cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries. Local blowing snow. Snowfall amount 2 to 4 cm. Wind south 30 km/h gusting to 50. Temperature rising to plus 1 this evening then falling. Wind chill minus 9 in the evening and minus 20 overnight.
