Bedford: Kevin, a resident of Thamesville, passed away suddenly on Friday, April, 26, 2019 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 57.
Born in Chatham, son of the late Edgar and Betty (Rich) Bedford. Kevin was a retired volunteer fireman at the Chatham-Kent Fire Station No. 8, Thamesville for 27 years, and a member of the Thamesville United Church and the United Church Men’s A.O.T.S . Beloved husband of Lisa (Miller) Bedford. Loving father of Tyler Bedford, Fraser Bedford (Brittany) and Sadie Parajuli (Sajal). Proud Grandpa of Reeve. Dear brother of Richard Bedford (Char), Brian Bedford (Kathy,) Doug Bedford (Janine) and brother-in-law of Allan Miller (Lauretta), Marion Miller (Doug), Warren Miller (Judi), Alex Miller (Darlene), Ross Miller (Mary Jane), Shirley Michel (Paul).Son-in-law to the late Kenneth and Doris (Wright) Miller. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Kevin was a good man.
He was kind, funny, generous, hardworking, community minded and a devoted family man.
The Bedford family will receive family and friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque) to the Thamesville Firemen’s Association or the Thamesville United Church Men’s A.O.T.S. would be appreciated.
