Police: Rollover crash, impaired, B&E, fraud

Break and enter

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a break and enter at a residence on Talbot Road West in Wheatley.

Unknown persons gained forced entry through a window and took various sport jerseys and alcohol from inside.

The investigation is ongoing and there are currently no suspects.

Motor vehicle collision leads to impaired charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, just after 3 p.m. police received a call to attend in the area of Fargo Road in Blenheim for a single motor vehicle rollover.

Officers attended the location and through investigation believed the man was driving while impaired by drugs.

He was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for tests.

A 28-year-old Blenheim man was charged with being impaired by drugs.

He was later released with a future court date.

Female arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning police located a female on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.

The female was found to have a warrant for various fraud related charges.

The 31-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.

Female arrested on outstanding warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Communications Road in Harwich Township.

The female passenger was found to have a warrant for breach of probation.

The 27-year-old female was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters for booking and later released with a future court date.
