After hearing about the ‘May 16th Miracle’ initiative, the Chatham-Kent Police Service wanted to do their part to make it happen.
On Thursday, members of the Chatham-Kent Police Association, Chatham-Kent Police Services Board and Senior Administration presented a cheque for $2,500 to the Miracle Day Food Drive in an effort to kick-start the event.
In addition, several members of the Chatham-Kent Police family will be volunteering their time to collect donations on Saturday.
