Police: B&E in Romney, bail violations, warrant executed

Break and enter on Talbot Trail in Romney

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 22, 2020 at about 4 a.m. a shed was entered and a tool box with miscellaneous items were taken.

The approximate value is $500, plus a 16 horsepower Swift riding lawn mower (orange and grey), 42” deck, valued at $1,000 was taken.

There are no suspects or witnesses.

Bail violation in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 22, 2020 a 56-year-old Chatham man was located on McNaughton Avenue in Chatham.

Conditions of his release were that he could not be outside of his residence.

He was arrested, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing. 

Warrant

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On May 23, a 26-year-old Chatham man was arrested by Woodstock Police Service on the strength
of several Chatham-Kent Police warrants. 

He was returned to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.

He was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters where he was held pending a bail hearing.
