Police are investigating after a classic car was stolen in Thamesville.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege sometime early yesterday morning, unknown suspects stole a truck with attached trailer carrying a classic car from a shed on Zone Centre Line.
“The 2007 grey Chevrolet Silverado truck and attached 20 foot black car trailer were both later recovered in a corn field on 7 Zone Road in Bothwell,” police said in a press release.
“Officers are still looking for the classic car, which is described as a grey 1962 Pontiac Laurentian. The car was last seen with Ontario license plates 62JEZBEL.”
