A Chatham Councillor wants to have Chatham-Kent lend support to officially making August 1st ‘Emancipation Day’ across Canada.
Councillor Marjorie Crew is bringing forward a motion at Monday’s, July 20, 2020 with hope that Chatham-Kent “acknowledges and supports” a recently tabled motion at Parliament.
