Mary Jane Carter, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away from cancer on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, in Wallaceburg, at the age of 67.
Survived and loved by her 99 year old mother Winnifred (Dever) Carter & father Thomas Carter (1999).
She will be missed by her brother James (Sue) Carter of Windsor, sister Anne (Kirby) McDonald of Simcoe, many nieces and nephews, and special friends Janice, Cam and Linda.
Mary worked at Nortel, London for 23 years.
She will be remembered as being generous, caring, a free spirit in her younger years, a bit of a rebel, and an animal lover, especially her cat Missy. She lived her life “her way”

The late Mary Carter rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following Mary’s wishes, there will be no services.
Cremation has taken place.
