Dresden pup wins spot in 2021 ‘Walkin’ Pets’ calendar

Walkin’ Pets, a pet mobility company, has announced that Bambi, a lucky rescue dog from Dresden, Ontario has won a spot in the 2021 Walkin’ Pets Calendar.

“Bambi was rescued off the streets in Mexico,” company officials said in a media release.

“She was found with broken legs, unable to walk and in severe pain. She was transported to a rescue in Texas where, with proper care and two surgeries later, she has found her forever home. Bambi has been adopted by Charlotte’s Freedom Farm in (Dresden) Ontario. Bambi has been in Canada for a few weeks now and adjusting well to life on the farm.”

This year’s contest featured entries from 27 different countries and features pets from around the world using their Walkin’ Wheels wheelchair.

Company officials say the 6th annual calendar contest helps to raise pet mobility awareness and celebrates the incredible strength and spirit of handicapable animals.

“Bambi is an incredibly sweet, playful and loving dog,” Charlotte’s Freedom Farm officials said in a press release.
