Workplace outbreaks declared over at Walmart & New Vision in Wallaceburg

The workplace COVID-19 outbreaks have officially been declared over at Walmart and New Vision in Wallaceburg.

CK Public Health officials confirmed the news with the Sydenham Current on Monday morning, February 1, 2021.

The outbreak at Walmart had been originally declared on Thursday, January 13, 2021.

Felicia Fefer, manager of corporate affairs for Walmart Canada, told the Sydenham Current last month that five associates from their Wallaceburg store, located at 60 McNaughton Avenue, tested positive for COVID-19. More details, here.

The outbreak at New Vision had originally been declared by public health on Monday, January 18, 2021.

Moira Eggett, who co-owns New Vision with her husband Brad, told the Sydenham Current their office was re-opening on Thursday, January 28, by appointment only. More details, here.
