The Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit have released their COVID-19 vaccination priorities for the week of March 8-12, 2021.
“Starting today, Chatham-Kent residents who are part of the following priority groups are invited to call 519-351-1010 (Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.) to book an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination,” CK Public Health officials posted on social media on Monday, march 8, 2021.
“Please call and leave a message. Our staff will return your call to book an appointment time; staff will be returning calls between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.”
CK Public Health officials are encouraging people to call if they are part of the following priority groups:
– First Nation, Inuit, Metis and Urban Indigenous residents and their immediate household members aged 16+
– Adult recipients of chronic home care (and able to attend appointment at Bradley Centre Clinic)
– Residents who are turning 80 in 2021 (born in 1941 or before)
– Spouses of residents 80+

“This new list of priority groups is in addition to previous groups who are still eligible for vaccination,” public health officials added.
