Wallaceburg Museum ‘desperately’ in need of volunteers

The Wallaceburg and District Museum are “desperately” in need of volunteers.

Holly DeMarco, the office manager at the Museum, told the Sydenham Current the volunteers are needed for when the Museum reopens for events, programs and fundraisers.

DeMarco said they are specifically looking for bakers, cooks, people who can sew, people who want to give tours, act as hosts, set up and tear down events.

DeMarco added they also need signing authorities for bingo, decorators, pre-planners and more.

Dana Haggith caught up with DeMarco for an interview. Listen, below:

The Museum, located at 505 King Street in Wallaceburg, can be reached at 519-627-8962.

Anyone interested in volunteering can email businessadmin@wallaceburgmuseum.ca.
