Man charged with breaching curfew
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, shortly after 11 p.m. an officer on general patrol observed a man riding a bicycle on King Street East in Chatham.
A traffic stop was initiated for a Highway Traffic Act offence.
Through investigation, police learned that the man was currently bound a curfew.
The man was arrested and upon being searched, was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
A 32-year-old Chatham man was charged with failing to comply with his release conditions and drug possession.
He was released pending a future court date of July 8, 2021.
Theft of ATV in Howard Township
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime late Sunday night or early Monday morning, unknown suspects stole a blue 2004 Yamaha Bruin 350 ATV from a property on Talbot Trail.
Total value of the theft has been estimated at $1,500.

Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime yesterday between 1:30 a.m. and 6 a.m. unknown suspects entered an unlocked residence on Faircourt Avenue in Chatham.
Once inside, the suspects stole a purse and wallet.

Theft of tools in Raleigh Township
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Sunday night around 9:30 p.m. unknown suspects entered an unlocked garage on Eighth Line.
Once inside, the suspects stole various tools:
– Mastercraft cordless drill set
– Bosch cordless drill set
– Stihl chainsaw
– Echo chainsaw
– Bosch leaf blower

– Turn on an exterior light
