Fibre-to-the-home Internet service launched in Thamesville

TekSavvy Solutions Inc. (“TekSavvy”), Canada’s largest independent Internet service provider (ISP), announced this week the launch of TekSavvy fibre-to-the-home service in Thamesville.

Company officials say the high-speed Fibre network will deliver Internet speeds up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps).

Fibre service availability will continue to roll-out through Thamesville, with completion scheduled for late October.

“TekSavvy is proud to deliver the latest fibre-based technology to Thamesville,” stated Charlie Burns, Chief Technology Officer at TekSavvy, in a media release.

“Residents can access fast, reliable Internet service with download speeds up to 1Gbps and unlimited usage — and all at a reasonable price.”

Chatham-Kent Mayor Darrin Canniff said this is great news for Thamesville.

“This community now can access a world-class fibre-optic network and higher service speeds,” Mayor Canniff said, in a press release.

TekSavvy Fibre Home Internet offers fair pricing on packages from Fibre 50Mbps to Fibre 1Gbps.

All packages include unlimited data usage.
