Mr. Matthew Wilson Banks a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg at the age of 86.
Matthew was born in Chatham, and was a son of the late Jack and Maggie (Sinclair) Banks. Beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Thorpe) Banks.
Loving father of Sue (Acie) Banks, Cindy (Stuart) Mahood, Matt Banks and Patricia Banks.
Dear grandfather of Jennifer, Katelynn, James, Kristin, Sam, Erica, Max, Raven, Megan and Morgan. Dear great grandfather of Tanner, Jacob, Cyrus, Blakely and Riley.
Kind brother of Ileen Dunlop, Marg McGee, John (Mary) Banks and Ken (Theresa) Banks.
Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, Ontario on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 11am-12noon. The Funeral Services will then follow at the funeral home at 12 noon.
Interment in Dresden Cemetery.
