Shed fire in Wallaceburg causes $200,000 damage

A shed fire in Wallaceburg has caused $200,000 in damage.

“Station #3 – Wallaceburg (full-time and volunteers) responded to a structure fire at 29520 Running Creek Road in Wallaceburg at 5:30 (on Wednesday) evening,” Chatham-Kent Fire & Emergency Services officials said in a press release.

“The structure was a dry shed approximately 25×40 feet. Severe damage within shed and all contents were lost. Estimated loss $200,000.”

Fire officials say there were no injuries and the cause has been ruled accidental.
