Officers with the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to the area of Brander Avenue and Lorne Avenue, near the high school in Wallaceburg, during the evening of Thursday, December 2, 2021.
“We responded to the report of gun fire in this area… determined to be fireworks,” Const. Renee Cowell, public information officer for the Chatham-Kent Police Service, told the Sydenham Current.
“Officers could not determine where fireworks originated from.”
Cowell said no charges or fines were laid as a result.
