Man arrested for public intoxication

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning at approximately 7:45 a.m. police were called to an address on King Street West in Chatham for a suspicious male party.

Police arrived and found an intoxicated male who was unable to care for himself.

The 60-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged for being intoxicated in a public place. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Headquarters and held until he was sober.

Woman charged with domestic related offences

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, shortly before 8 p.m. police responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned that the woman damage their home.

The 52-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and charged with mischief and weapons dangerous.

She was released with conditions and a future court date.

Disturbance leads to arrests

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning police responded to St. Clair Street in Chatham for a disturbance outside a local business.

Police arrested a 32-year-old Varna, Ontario man and a 32-year-old Seaforth, Ontario man for being intoxicated in a public place.

They were both held in custody until they were sober.
