The Wallaceburg Red Devils are preparing for the upcoming 2022 lacrosse season.
The team recently announced some changes to their front office and coaching staff.
Jim Hopgood is the general manager for the Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse club, while former National Lacrosse League goalie Tye Belanger will be the assistant general manager and goalie coach.
Former Red Devil Rob Pollock has been named head coach, while Shane Pollock will be the assistant coach.
“The Wallaceburg Red Devils are excited to welcome back Junior B lacrosse for the 2022 season,” team officials said on social media.
“Conditioning camps will begin mid-March with dates to follow shortly. All prospective players are reminded to register under Junior B on the OLA registration site. Proof of registration is required for all camps.”
The Red Devils home opener is slated to take place at 4 p.m. at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena on Sunday, April 24, 2022 against the Six Nations Rebels.
The 10th and final home game of the regular season will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 against London.
