Impaired driving charges laid in Lambton County

Lambton OPP officials allege: On March 12, 2022 at 8:40 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a possible impaired driver on Tile Yard Road.

Members of Lambton County OPP located the vehicle and, upon speaking with the driver, it became apparent the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage and was displaying signs of impairment.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Lambton OPP detachment where they provided two samples of breath above the legal limit.

A 30-year-old Dawn-Euphemia Township man has been charged with the following:

– Operation While Impaired and,

– Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus).

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on April 25, 2022.
