The Walpole-Algonac Ferry will be setting sail on Friday, April 1, 2022
“It’s with great pleasure to announce that we will be opening on April 1,” ferry officials posted on social media.
Officials added to “stay tuned” for their hours of operation and they also noted to opening is weather permitting.
“This time of year we can experience fog and/or high winds on the river,” ferry officials say.
“Our Captains main priority is safety, therefore they only run when conditions are safe.”
Ferry officials say it is the responsibility of individuals to know the current requirements for entering Canada.
“So make sure you follow all Health Canada and CBSA requirements,” ferry officials say.
“We can’t wait to see you all again.”
