Essex OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) in Leamington, executed a search warrant on May 12, 2022, on Ridge Road in the Town of Essex.
The Essex Community Street Crime Unit recovered multiple stolen items as a result.
A 49-year-old Wheatley man was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following offences:
– Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000 x 2
He was released with a future court date.
