Robert Hazzard

With great sadness we announce that Robert Horley Hazzard passed gently to his Master while surrounded by family on March 22, 2023 at CKHA – Sydenham Campus in his 93rd Year.

Predeceased by his beloved Jean (nee McKeegan) in 2012. Robert will be lovingly missed by his children Connie (Mike), Carol (George), Brian (Sheri), Roger (Evelyn), Keith (Vonda), Kevin (Josie) and his grandchildren Scott (Ksenia), Eric (Amy), Dan (Rachel), Jeff (Tara), Kristyn (Curtis), Kaitlyn (Micah), Ian, Jennifer (Andrew), Amanda (Matt), Alecia (Marc), Nathan (Mariah), Taylor, Lucan, Gemma, Jaren, his 23 great grandchildren and his great great grandson. Bob is the last remaining son of the late Donald and Mary Hazzard and will now join his siblings, Jack (Dana), Russ (Marg), Dick (Jean), Phyllis (Bernie), Ken (Laurine surviving) and Butch (Lila).

He will be remembered by his brother-in-law Melvin McKeegan and sister-in-law Doreen McKeegan as well as his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Bob was well known by the agricultural community from his 40 years as general manager at Hazzard’s Farm Service and also as a faithful member of Bethel Church.

Bob and Jean wintered in Florida for many years at Sanlan Ranch and enjoyed playing Golf, Sudoku, Jigsaw Puzzles and Crokinole.

Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Bethel Church on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8.

His services will be held at the Church on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11am followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.

Services on Tuesday will be live streamed through the Church’s Website.
