The Studio Art Gallery-159 Brown St. Dresden

Each artist brings something unique to The Studio Art Gallery and Jill is no exception with her beach and nature inspired driftwood art.

Jill Wolsing grew up in Sarnia Ontario, spending countless hours on Lake Huron, and spent her summers on the shores of Lake Erie at a family cottage. At an early age she became a collector of the wonderful things nature produces at the beach.

Moving to Chatham-Kent, Wallaceburg she was given a life changing opportunity to study floral design, where she had a rewarding career creating for life’s moments.

Always having her collection in the back of her mind, she began to apply her knowledge of design to her vast array of shells, driftwood, beach glass and stones. Starting with wedding and funeral memorial keepsakes on driftwood and live wood for family and friends. Finding inspiration she continues to explore driftwood art as well as the art of working with nature and the possibilities it creates.

Stop into The Studio Art Gallery to see what Jill Wolsing and the many other diverse artists have on display and for sale.

Open Wednesday to Saturday 11am – 4pm.
