Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 37-year-old Wallaceburg man is facing a driving-related charge after police say he failed to stop immediately for officers in Wallaceburg.
According to Chatham-Kent police, officers attempted to stop a vehicle with improper licence plates on John Park Line at about 5:13 p.m. on July 1. The vehicle continued for a short distance before stopping at an address on the same road.
Police determined the driver was prohibited from driving. The 37-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with driving while under suspension.
He was issued a Part 3 summons and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 19.
