Big Brothers and Big Sisters officials say the Big Golf Ball Drop is happening on Friday August 11, 2023 at 4:45 p.m. at the Links of Kent in Chatham.
Everyone is welcome to come out to the Links of Kent to witness up to 3,000 golf balls hoisted up in a crane and dropped to the ground.
The person holding the ticket corresponding to the closest golf ball to the pin wins $3,000.
Golf balls are currently still for purchase for $5 each or 5 for $20.
