Two arrested on warrants
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, police took two young offenders into custody following an assault investigation that occurred on October 1, 2023 in Tecumseh Park.
Both of the youths have been charged with Aggravated Assault.
Both were released with a future court date of December 4, 2023.
Impaired driving
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon at approximately 4:55 p.m. Police responded to the area of Grand Avenue West in Chatham in regards to someone who had struck a light pole with their vehicle and then fled the scene.
Through further investigation, police located the vehicle and the driver who was showing signs of impairment.
A 47-year-old Windsor man was arrested for Impaired Operation.
He was subsequently brought to Police headquarters where he provided breath samples which resulted in him being charged with being over the legal limit.
He was released with a future court date of October 23, 2023.
