The Murray Street Bridge Rehabilitation project in Wallaceburg is nearing completion.
“As the rehabilitation of the Murray Street Bridge nears completion, the bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily from Tuesday, November 14 to Friday, November 17 to complete final testing and commissioning of the bridge’s new sensors,” Municipal officials said in a media release.
“During this time, the bridge will also not be operable for larger boats. Smaller boats that do not require the bridge to be opened will be accommodated during this time.”
The Municipality of Chatham-Kent appreciates the patience and cooperation of the residents of the Community of Wallaceburg during this project, Municipal officials added.
