A Remembrance Day Ceremony is being held on Thursday, November 9, 2023, on Walpole Island First Nation.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. and will last for approximately one hour.
Participants will walk from the Bkejwanong Children’s Centre, located at 114 Tecumseh Road, to the Veteran’s Monument.
“We hope you can join us to honour all our American and Canadian Veterans,” organizers say.
“All welcome to the ceremony.”
The event is hosted by Bkejwanong Children’s Centre in participation with: Anishinaabe Kinomaagewgamig, Bkejwanong Kinomaagewgamig, Bkejwanong Biiweziimag Kinomaagewgamig and WDSS Future Elders.
