The Wallaceburg Branch of the Chatham-Kent Public Library is undergoing minor renovations to revitalize the space, including fresh paint and lower shelving that will allow patrons better access to collections.
Curbside service will be offered between Monday, November 20 and Saturday, November 25, 2023.
Library officials say pick up your holds, borrow available popular items, and take-home stay and play activities for the kids.
Computers, printing, Community Navigator services, and meeting pods will not be available during this time, library officials added.
Curbside hours are:
– Monday, November 20, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
– Tuesday, November 21, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
– Wednesday, November 22, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
– Thursday, November 23, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
– Friday, November 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
– Saturday, November 25, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Wallaceburg Branch will be closed between Monday, November 27 and Saturday, December 2, 2023.
Patron due dates will be adjusted so that no materials will be due during the closure, library officials say.
Any library items can continue to be returned in the Wallaceburg Branch drop box.
If you’d like to browse the shelves during the closure, Dresden and Chatham branches are open regular hours during this time.
Visit soon to stock up on library materials.
Library staff are happy to curate a bag of books in advance of the closure.
“We are working hard to serve the community better and are looking forward to welcoming patrons back into a refreshed space,” library officials said in a media release.
