Ms. Irene Druer, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance “Chatham Site” at age of 84 years.
She was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Rosanna (Miller) Druer. Dear mother of Shirley (Stewart) Kelly, Bonnie (Mark) Seys and Jeanne (The late Joe) Witherow. Dear grandmother of Kendra, Kyle, Justin, Shane, Shawn, Carly, Lauren, Joe, Kera and Maureen. Dear great grandmother of Niah, Aubree, Axton, Averleigh, Sydney, Caydence, Ashton, Anisa and Jax.
Kind sister of Pam (Bev) DeMaeyer, Fred (Belinda) Druer, John (late Pam) Druer and sister-in-law of Sherry Druer and Sharon Druer.
Predeceased by her brothers Charlie, Leonard, Robert, Tom, Daniel and her sisters Marie and Shirley.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The late Irene Druer is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday November 29, 2023 at 11am. Burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery in Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations to World Vision may be left at the funeral home.
