Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:34 p.m., police attended Grand Avenue West in Chatham and arrested a man on an outstanding warrant related to a November 2023 assault investigation.
The 67-year-old Chatham man was charged with uttering threats, assault with intent to resist arrest, assaulting a police officer and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He was transported to police headquarters and released with conditions and a future court date of February 5, 2024.
