Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 10:06 a.m., a man attended the Criminal Court of Justice on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
Officers confirmed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court on a previous date.
He was arrested and released with a new court date.
At 11:10 a.m., police attend a residential building on King Street East in Chatham to investigate a bail violation.
Upon arrival, officers located the man and confirmed he was bound by an undertaking with conditions prohibiting him from attending the address.
The man was arrested and transported to police headquarters.
The 37-year-old Chatham man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
He is facing the following charges: possession of stolen property, assault causing bodily harm, and two failing to comply with undertaking.
