Arrest made after a B&E in Dresden

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 12, 2024, at 4:34 a.m. police responded to Wellington Street in Dresden for a break and enter in progress.

Upon arrival, officers located the man on the premises.

The man was found with tools and copper wiring.

Further investigation revealed the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.

The 39-year-old Dresden man was arrested and charged with break and enter.

He was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
