On Monday, February 12, 2024, Norman Dwayne Nahdee Jr. joined his family in the spirit world at the age of 49.
Left behind to remember him always are his wife Molly Nahdee, their children; Miguel, Alonso, Bryson, Sadie Jayar, his children Avery, Vincent and Hazel as well as their mother Mary Sealhunter.
Son of Norman and Rhonda Nahdee and son-in-law of Jacqueline Miskokomon and Michael Sands.
Dear brother of Cecile (Leonard), Nadine (Jeff), Crystal (Glene), Rachel, Jon, Desiree and Hunter.
JR loved his community and his family, always the first person to step forward when help was needed. He and will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family and the whole Walpole Island Community.
He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and enjoyed spending his life on the land, hunting, fishing and trapping.
JR worked with his father at Tahgahoning Enterprises for many years, finishing his career as the resource protection officer for Walpole Island First Nation.
His family would like to sincerely acknowledge the fire keepers and the pallbearers for your service in honouring JR.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 5-8pm.
His funeral will be celebrated at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 1pm with visitation beginning at 11:30am.
Burial will follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
