Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:51 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on a man reported to be sleeping in the elevator of a building on Fifth Street in Chatham.
Officer attended and confirmed a warrant was issued for the man on January 19, 2024, for breaching his Conditional Sentence Order.
The 36-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held for a bail hearing.
