Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 1:50 p.m., police responded to Park Avenue West in Chatham for a theft investigation.
A man was captured via surveillance video stealing a delivery from a residence.
The video assisted in the identification of the person.
At 3:01 p.m., the man was located and arrested.
The man was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for breaking a Conditional Sentence Order.
The 37-year-old Chatham man was transported to police headquarters and held pending a bail hearing.
