Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:58 a.m., police located the man on King Street West in Chatham and confirmed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant in a theft investigation.
The 38-year-old Chatham man was arrested and released with a future court date of May 6, 2024.
He was charged with theft, possession of stolen property and failing to attend court.
