Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 6:26 p.m., police received information a stolen vehicle, reported to Lambton Ontario Provincial Police could be located on Lorne Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Through investigation, officers located the vehicle and the driver.
Officers confirmed the woman was also wanted for an April 19, 2024, break-and-enter investigation on Warwick Drive in Wallaceburg and a DNA warrant.
The 26-year-old Walpole Island woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing.
She is currently facing the following charges: break and enter, failing to comply with a probation order, two counts of theft and two counts of possession of stolen property.
