Update #1: Police said at 1:08 p.m. that Merlin Road is now open.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Merlin Road is currently closed south of Merlin, as of 7:49 a.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
It will remain closed for the next couple of hours as officers investigate a motor vehicle collision.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
