Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 2 p.m. police responded to a disturbance on Thames Street in Chatham.
Upon arrival, officers located the woman and confirmed she was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court, in relation to theft investigations.
The 33-year-old Chatham-Kent woman was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where she was held pending a bail hearing.
She is currently facing the following charges: failing to attend court, two counts of theft, two counts of possession of stolen property and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
