Driver airlifted after a crash in St. Clair Township

OPP officials allege: On Friday June 7, 2024, at just before 6 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding a serious single-vehicle collision on Bentpath Line, St. Clair Township.

Officers attended the scene along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the St. Clair Fire Department.

The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital by EMS then airlifted by Air Ornge with life threatening injuries.

Bentpath Line between 40 Highway and Indian Creek Road was closed for several hours while OPP Collision Reconstructionist investigate the collision scene.

The driver has been identified as a 59-year-old individual from St. Clair Township.

The individual is expected to recover from their injuries.

No charges will be laid in relation to this collision.
